Valentine Day memories:

I think it is such a cute tradition! But I would like to have a Valentine Day at least once every week! I remember the Valentine Day celebrations from my school days- may be from my eighth or ninth standard. What I remember is how the school and later on the college would then practically be split into two groups- the girls and the boys. Everyone would be on the lookout for their Valentine. Even though I never had my Valentine, I have certainly played my part as Cupid by transferring the messages and gifts between the couple.

My first crush:

You won’t believe it but it was Guru Dutt! I have always been a black-and-white era person. Colored images make you feel that you have seen them somewhere. But black-and-white images always have an abstract appeal. When I was ten or eleven, I saw (the black-and-white classic) ‘Kaagaz Ke Phool’ and since then I have been hooked on to Guru Dutt’s persona! Surprisingly I have not had any particular fascination for any hero from the latter generations. Yes, for a brief period after our school-group went and saw- ‘Kuchh Kuchh Hota Hai’, all of us school-girls were madly in love with Shahrukh!

My Ideal Valentine:

Someone with large pockets full of money- who would bring me lots of gifts! Seriously speaking, my dream Valentine would be someone who would care for me and be mushy every now and then! I don’t think too much about future and believe in enjoying every moment of life to the fullest. I feel not knowing what tomorrow holds for you is romance in itself. My Valentine would be someone who shares the same philosophy!
