A realistic hard-hitting film on the subject of 'Jail' doesn't offer much scope for music and the album proves that. Bhandarkar's latest film employs Sharib-Toshi and Shamir Tandon as composers to dish out passable situational fares. Sharib- Toshi's Sufi Rock track Sainya Ve, their sentimental track Milke Yun Lagaa, Sonu Kakkar's folksy item-number Bareilli Ke Bajaar Mein and Lata Mangeshkar's prayer Daata Sun Le (a surprise offering from the 80-year old melody queen!) don't really bring anything new to the table .
