The talented trio of Shankar-Ehsan-Loy finally manage to come out of their recent rut and compose a multi-faceted modern soundtrack. Collaborating with lyricist Prasoon Joshi, SEL create a musical extravaganza with catchy tunes and good lyrics.

The opening number Barso Yaaro (Vishal Dadlani, Roopkumar Rathod) is nice but belongs to the trio's tried and trusted (and now rather predictable!) rock-styled stage-songs. Shankar's spirited mock-classical fun-track Man Ko Ati Bhaave Sainyaa gives new energy to the album. The robust Punjabi Bhangra-styled Tapkey Masti (sung by Feroz Khan, a Sukhvinder-voice-alike!) and a moody, lounge-styled Khaanabadosh (rendered by Mohan) then continue the momentum unabated. Shankar later teams up with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan in a sentimental melody Khwaab Jo, which charts a Soft Rock course. Roopkumar Rathod and Shankar's modern fusion qawwali Yaari Bina. Abhijeet Ghoshal's rousing Jashn Hai Jeet Ka and Zubeen Garg's upbeat Shola Shola are all interesting numbers.

The rest of the album is filled with remixes.
