Love Aaj Kal

Pritam

By his own admission, Pritam is not a terribly original composer. Time and again, he has been accused of/guilty of plagiarism but when it comes catchy sound-designing, he definitely stands amongst the best in contemporary Bollywood. His music in Love Aaj Kal proves that.

The album has a party feel to it with plenty of racy, rhythmic Hinglish dance-tracks, all of which have a distinctive Punjabi flvaour. Neeraj Shreedhar steals the show here with three spirited renditions- Twist (featuring a clever take on the famous classic Nagin- Been tune), Chor Bazaari (a duet with Sunidhi Chouhan) and Aahun Aahun (with Master Salim, Suzie Q). Sunidhi Chauhan joins in the fun with Thoda Thoda Pyaar – another chirpy dance-number designed for marriage parties!
To provide the emotional touch, there are songs like Mohit Chauhan's patented sad brooding styled – Dooriyan and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's Punjabi folk-styled Aaj Din Chadheya. KK also makes his presence felt through a soft rock-styled Main Kya Hoon.

This soundtrack is hip, happening and hot and is sure to dominate the FM charts this year.
